The people who will know your name, fix your form and remember your PBs.

I’ve been doing CrossFit for around five years, and from the moment I joined HOTBOX, I knew I wanted to coach. I love helping people reach new personal bests, and I somehow ended up in charge of the programming, so if there’s a movement you tend to avoid, maybe don’t tell me! My favourite movements are toes-to-bar and handstand walks, and my least favourite? Definitely the Echo bike and wall balls.

I joined HOTBOX as a member in 2024 and began coaching in February 2025, looking for a new challenge and a way to share my passion for training. I enjoy being part of people’s fitness journeys, whether it’s hitting a new lift or simply moving better in workouts. My favourite movements are cleans, squats, and pressing work, especially handstand push-ups, and I particularly enjoy coaching our CrossFit and Hybrid classes. Coming from a strong rugby background (representing Lancashire, Northumberland, North England U18s, and playing for the Sale Sharks Academy), Hybrid sessions feel like home after years of training to support my sport. The best part of the role for me is meeting new people and helping them progress towards their goals.

I’m new to coaching, having started six months ago, but I’ve been part of the HOTBOX community for years. I first joined with no CrossFit experience and was later invited to take on the challenge of coaching, a role that keeps me learning, developing, and staying accountable. The best part is seeing someone master a new skill because of something I’ve taught them. I enjoy coaching metcons and gymnastics, with muscle-ups, box jumps, and rope climbs among my favourite movements. I’m currently completing my CrossFit Level 1 and looking forward to building my knowledge and experience even further.

I’ve been doing CrossFit for nine years and coaching for three, and I still enjoy it just as much as when I started. Since moving into full-time coaching and personal training, I’ve worked with a wide range of people to help them move better, develop new skills, and build confidence both in and out of the gym. With additional training in movement mechanics, I focus on finding the root causes of injuries and helping clients recover or address imbalances. The most rewarding part of my role is seeing people return to the sports and activities they love, pain-free.
Although I’m fairly new to CrossFit, I’ve been coaching fitness classes and working as a Level 3 Personal Trainer since 2011, with a BSc (Hons) in Sport and Exercise Science. More recently, I became a pre- and post-natal exercise specialist. I love helping people feel stronger, more confident, and proud of what their bodies can achieve. Seeing someone reach a goal, or simply start enjoying exercise, is the most rewarding part of my role. I love being a small part of that journey!
I’ve been involved in CrossFit for over 12 years and have explored calisthenics, powerlifting, Hyrox, and gymnastics along the way. I’ve competed in the CrossFit Open every year and recently took part in District L with my team. I love encouraging people to compete because it’s a great way to challenge yourself and grow. These days, I’m focused full-time on calisthenics, working on gymnastics, mobility, and injury prevention while aiming to get my Level 1 certification. I enjoy using warm-up games to build community and keep training fun, and my favourite movement will always be the ring muscle-up.
